<How Many HolesWouldTear Down theWall> is acollaboration project by Juyeong Park and Reeha Lim.
The project, composed of two artworks, focuses on the hypocrisy indefining a boundary. The black-and-white video first appears upon entering the exhibition entitled <Dream of Dream House>. The mist and house in the video allude to the boundary and the character veers between the mist and house to either heighten ordestroy the boundary.

The installation work <Dream House>, located toward the center of the exhibition venue, embodies the miniature reproduction of the house featured in the video images. A specific boundary reveals an apparent truth. What is the foundation to build a substantial frame and a firm house? The origin of the disengagement of a faithful relationship is evaluated, aside from the truth and illusion. We are repeatedly ‘overcoating stained nails with nail polish, shoving chaotic clutter under the dark shadow beneath the couch, and closing windows to prevent the mist from permeating through a crack in the window2’.

We feel relieved in our comfort zone and assume an unconcerned air for everything outside the boundary. However, in confronting self-consciousness on the inherent attributes that were firmly believed to associate with the others, will we disregard ourselves as well? This project metaphorically discloses the confused state of the artist in ethical consciousness and personal judgment.
